REVIEW: Neom Happiness Candle

First of all I want to say thank you to the lovely people at amara.co.uk who contacted me and asked if I would like to choose a product to review. I asked them if I would be able to review a Neom candle as I love candles and I have heard lots of great things about these. I am a big fan of Yankee Candles so I was interested to see how the Neom candle would match up. They sent me the travel candle to review in the fragrance Happiness. The travel size makes it great to pop in your bag when you are going on holiday to take a little bit of pampering away with you as it wouldn't take up much space in a little travel bag.

The first thing that I noticed about this candle is the smell. I could smell it before I had even taken it out of the box. It is described as having a blend of White Neroli, Mimosa and Lemon which is combined with fresh grass notes.You can really notice the lemon in the candle and I think this makes it a great one for anyone who loves citrus scents. The candle fragrance fills the room very quickly and I can usually smell the scent in the house the day after I have been burning the candle.

Another of my favourite things about this candle is that it burns really clean. When it has been burning for a short period of time and depending on how much of the candle is left it turns the candle wax clear which means you get a really clean burn and none of the candle is wasted. After I have finished burning the candle I think I will clean the pot out and use it for storing things on my dressing table.

I was interested in comparing this to my Yankee Candles which I really love and I have to say I think they are both on par. They both have fragrance which fills the room with ease which is what I'm looking for most in a fragranced candle. I would say the Yankee Candle lasts slightly longer than the Neom one and the Neom one burns so cleanly this would not put me off buying either. 

I think it would make a great Christmas present and I would certainly love to receive a full size one of these in my stocking on Christmas day!
